Daniel Hall a pediatric dentist was a guest of Ben Tuttle. His practice is that very cool KidZamm building along the 69 corridor in Prescott Valley.
Eric Chester and Jane Anne were the SGTS last Wednesday. Happy bucks weren’t flowing as readily as usual and no one seemed to appreciate the straw auction. Eric proceeded to totally confuse the entire club by calling out the last 4 number of the raffle instead of the last three. Clent and Josh won the pot.
Greg Ellingham was inducted into the club by Bud Ackerman. Greg is the Marketing Director at Findlay Automotive (hopefully they will be a major sponsor of Double Down in 2019). Greg in his cool Texas drawl (ha ha) gave us highlights of his life and his expectations for becoming a part of the Prescott community. He also talked about Saturday October 27th Lot Party benefiting Central AZ. Honor Guard and Central AZ Pipes and Drums. Halloween Trunk or Treat.
Our Speaker for Last Meeting was Jay Grover. Jay and his wife Terry own A Portrait Park by Jay, and they were very active members of our club for a couple of years. They have recently started a new business selling cannabidiol (often called CBD). The marijuana plant and the hemp plant are sister weeds. It is CBD vs. THC. CBD is good for you and is legal in all of 50 states and has a low amount of THC.
Cannabidiol is a phytocannabinoid derived from Cannabis species, which is devoid of psychoactive activity, with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antineoplastic and chemopreventive activities. Cannabidiol (CBD) is usually the main cannabinoid in fiber and commercial hemp and the second most widely used cannabinoid for medicinal purposes from the hemp plant. In fiber hemp, cannabidiol is found at a concentration range of about 0.5 to 2.0% in the upper third part of the plant and in the flowers.

Dear Sunupians … Some messages are timeless. ‘A Rotary club gives us an opportunity that no social or specialized club can do. It is strong on the human side; it stands for individuals, unfetters them, appeals to their originality, brings out their latent powers, and puts them at their best by extending them the full measure of their confidence and appealing to the best that is in them - service not self.’
