Whats Happening
Cruise For Vets Day - Saturday April 17th Sunup Rotary participated with the Cruise For Vets organization to help veterans in need. More than 600 restored automobiles of all kinds were on display at Gateway Mall. It was a huge success taking the sponsors by surprise. Almost all parking was full. Sunup Rotary played an important part by providing liability insurance through Rotary Internationals policy. Without this the event would not have been possible. Thank yous go out to Jim Huffman, Todd Clancy, Jerry Fohrman, Donna and Ray Jacobs, John, Rich, AJ, Clent, Josh, Linda, Bard. Art & Bud as well as three students from ERAU and two from PHS.

SUNUP ROTARY OF PRESCOTT ONCE AGAIN COMES TO THE RESCUE
Sunup Rotary of Prescott once again answered the calls for assistance from an older woman with health problems and little cash. The woman lives alone in Paulden and was not able to sell her house and move to be closer to her relatives in Washington State until the massive amount of debris was removed from her property. Sunup Rotary mustered its members, as well as numerous members from the Silverwings Rotaract Club at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. It was a grueling all-day challenge as the volunteers dismantled a very long metal horse fencing, demolished a large woodshed, and disposed of a massive amount of piled debris. We send out our deep appreciation to the Silverwings Rotaract Club at ERAU for their invaluable assistance. Sunup is once again pleased to have the opportunity to demonstrate “Service Above Self.”
