Greg Barstad paid to brag about Oregon State baseball and Dan Beyer was happy for his upcoming trip back East. Tony Shaw paid a grandson camping trip survival buck and Art Harrington was happy to explain why the Interact Ambassadors packed two suitcases for their Kenya trip. Lots of general and Father’s Day happy bucks. Terri Smith won the pot but no money.

Speaker Last Meeting:   Mayor Greg Mengarelli introduced Glen Hinshaw, owner and founder of RESA Wearables Inc.  Glen shared his journey from a professional bicycle racer interested in custom orthotics to founding a company that manufactures custom made insoles throughout the world. His central offices are located here in Prescott with kiosks located  in retail stores that scan and print custom insoles in about an hour. Each kiosk incorporates a scanner that captures every detail of your feet in three dimensions and then manufactures  the insoles with a 3D printer from high-quality thermoplastics. RESA currently has kiosks in over 27 Costco stores throughout the US. Glen is working with Yavapai College and Embry Riddle to develop educational curricula in robotic manufacturing that can be employed by RESA and associated firms providing a boost for high tech jobs in the Prescott area. See www.resawear.com for more information about this exciting company and their product.

Good Monday Fellow Sunupians!

WOW! One more meeting and the Chartering party in Sedona on Saturday and then....

Congratulations to the Frontier Rotary Club on a very successful "Grapes for Grades" program this evening. Great wine, delicious hors d'oeuvres, did I mention the great wine! Incredible camaraderie. A special thanks to all our members who attended and supported this worthy event. (I almost called a special meeting!) However, it can still be used as a make-up.

Looking forward to the new Sedona Village Club chartering party; we have a spittoon in hand to donate that will be engraved by Raskins Jewelers. We are also donating a badge box.

The BOD has approved continuing with Club Runner next year. Special thanks to all members who responded to our survey. (The summary  is attached.)  BOD minutes will be posted soon.

Neal, get warmed up in the bull pen! You are almost IT!

Sincerely,
