Richard gave directions to CTEC for the meeting next Wednesday. He announced the 100 year GALA for the Prescott Rotary. The board meeting will be in Prescott at the Yavapai College Bldg 32, bottom floor.

District governor Brett McKean of Peoria North Rotary Club gave a special award to all Presidents. He gave clent a championship ring for keeping it going through covid. Coming out of covid AZ has 64 clubs. They only lost 1. 124 members were lost. Brett said Sunup was a very strong club. Speaking to new members especially. They went to Caborca on a polio trip. Went door to door in a very poor community. No school no grocery. Prupose of Rotary came to him when he held a less than 12 month baby for polio vaccine. 2021 – Serve to change lives. Are we really making a difference? Service is the rent you pay for your room in this world.

Tour Yavapai College's Career and Technical Education Center
On This Week, we will start our weekly meeting at the Hassayampa for announcements and breakfast. Following, we will travel to CTEC via 89 North to Ruger Road. Turn right and go all the way to the end to Yavapai College's Career and Technical Education Center (C.T.E.C.) for an onsite tour.
This state of the art facility offers hands on training in Animals, Autos, Aviation, Construction, Fire Science, Construction, Culinary Arts, 3D printing, Welding, and Visual Arts among many others. CTEC is located at 220 Ruger Road near the Prescott Airport. To learn more go to:

100 Year of Rotary
Celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Prescott on October 1 and 2 this year!
It’s a 1920s theme evening, black tie optional. We will start with happy hour and dance lessons. We’ll follow that with a special 4-course gala dinner, specially designed by the Hassayampa Inn chef. There will be dancing, a silent auction, a historical perspective of Rotary and we are even going to auction off a piece of Prescott history.
October 1: Community Sing – 5pm on the courthouse steps
This is our actual charter date, so the club is officially 100 years old on Friday. We’ll gather at the courthouse, and because we are a club of song, we’ll host a community sing-along with special guests.
